This Sunday in C3Kids we'll be teaching from Daniel 3.
It is the famous story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego - three courageous men who refused to bow to any god other than the One True God. As you share this story with your children this week, discuss the concept of persecution. What does it mean? What does it look like in America? What does it look like elsewhere? Are we willing, as Believers, to endure physical suffering in the name of Jesus?
Pray together for faith like that of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Pray for the Believers around the world who are currently being persecuted. Pray for God's name to be praised among all peoples.
*Parents, remember that on the back of your child's coloring sheet is a message to parents with discussion questions about the story. This is a great resource to use on Sunday afternoons or evenings, while the story is still fresh on your child's mind.
