This Sunday we'll be teaching from Matthew 4:1-11 in C3Kids.
Our curriculum titles this passage, "Jesus defeats Satan with the Word." This passage teaches such a fundamental lesson about how to fight temptation - with God's Word! Do we as parents proactively fight against Satan by storing up The Word in our hearts and by teaching The Word to our children so that they too can fight against Satan? How many times do we put other things before God? In this passage, Jesus chose God over everything. Let's pray with our families that God would give us the grace to do the same!
